    What was your best first mod to get some top speed?

    ???? Ski saying 72 so far, waiting to verify by GPS i have. Any way to get more top speed?? I dont want to take off the OPAS.

    Ride platemod. Cheap and should give you an extra mph.

    Firefox is right. OPAS can be downright dangerous plus it slows you down.

    The rideplate mod is basically filling in the bolt holes with JB Weld and smothing it out. Do a search on this forum and you will see posts with pics.

    Ride plate holes filled and intake grate tued as well as checking the reverse bucket clearance. These are basically free mods that are easy to do. Get rid of the OPAS.
    Have impros re-pitch the stock impeller or get a re-pitched Solas from PPG.
    Probably the quickest most non-evasive speed mod in my opinion.
