I love how this thread is still rolling and just as relevant 9 years later. I finally took my R&D free flow out this weekend and did the TJ mod to the stock exhaust. After 6 years of being the most hated man on my lake I figured it was time to tone it down a little.

Can you please post a video of how it sounds, I know you have a lot of mods done so the sound will be different from my stock one but would love to hear it since if I do and don't like the sound will have to get another pipe

Hi guys, I too have a free flow, r&d and I can’t take the drone anymore, so I am looking for the original pipe work to do a “TJ” on it.
are any of you willing to sell your original?..

    tks

was thinking of replacing the pipe with a marine stainless steel pipe so that if I ever want to go back I just replace the pipe.

I did the TJ Mod, I Had to use 3m 4200 to seal the 2" cap to the rubber b/c it was leaking water. It would drip, drip, drip, etc. I would have 2-3 gallons of water in my ski when I was done for the day. I started it at home and didn't see any leaks. I couldn't figure out the water intrusion til one day I started it without my back seat on while in the water. Thanks for the mod though. I Like it alot.

I have found that if you sand most of the threads smooth (leaving only small ridges )on the plug before u install it and tighten the clamp good it will not leak
