Well I finally got the hose through and although this looks like alot there was actually a bit more of smaller pieces that blew out and scattered throughout my garage. I am so relieved to have found this problem

Wow, if all that was in there, there is no question that was your issue. The symptoms fit, and your picture is the evidence ... I wonder what all that is?

Thought so ... that is one thing that I prefer on my 2005, no sprocket cover.

Now im using the Castrol motorcycle 10w-40 and the oil pressure is 95 lbs tested at the head cold for atleast 2 mintues before it gradually lowers. Then to 60 lbs after 5 minutes of idle. The difference now from my situation before the blockage was removed is that the oil pressure is much more consistent, meaning it doesn't jump all around like before. Instantly the pressure rises on reving the motor to 95-100 . I ran the ski in water at boat ramp and held it at 5000 holding a solid 95 lbs before it finally lowered to 85 lbs. I didn't have anyone to ride with some im paranoid about testing in open water. I guess my question is has anyone tested oil pressure at head port on a freshly built engine. Pressure seems real high.My buddy says I just need to break it in and check after 10 hours.

I have not put mine in the water yet this year after oil passage clean out, but last year I checked oil pressure and recorded 90+ psi cold at the head and dropped to 60ish once it warmed up. So I think that sounds pretty normal ... anyone else check their oil pressure?
