1998 SLXH Seat

Hi,

I just bought a 98 SLXH that runs good but looks like a well used ski.

I have heard that you can replace the two seperate seats with a one seat. What one works otherwise is there a safety recall on the two piece front seat because the plastic on mine is cracked and not very safe to ride like this

no safety issue on that machine...I had one and my seat was cracked and you can replace it with a 99 and up slx seat. just remove the seat post in the middle of the seat bracket....

my 98 did 68.7 mph with a rebuilt stock motor with v force reeds and a set of triple pipes. I am sorry I sold that boat because it got taken apart and it was a real sleeper (check out the boarding ladder)and I beat up on a few RXP's with that little boat!!! LOL!!!

I was probably going to just plastic weld the crack and make a bracket to add some extra support there.

What should i use to refinish the seat? Just some normal vinyl from where ever i can find it fine?
