Riva Open Loop plate on RXT
Does anybody have the new riva open loop plate on an RXT. If so what are the numbers you have gotten. I but the open loop system on mine and the plate and lost 8mph. The open loop works great and I am pulling over 200 more rpms because I am running much cooler but
lost a lot of speed. Going back to stock plate to see what happens.

Riva plate
I believe it was made for the RXP and Not the T. It really screwed my ski up. It grabs hard when you turn and scrubs more speed off like it did when it still had opas.

The plate was made for all 4-tec skis. There are quite a few people that have run the plate on the RXT and all have gained speed. I'm sure they'll chime in and give you some input.

Did you seal the plate?
Did you remove the old sealant first?
Is it mounted all the way UP?
Is it flush?

We tested the Riva Open Loop plate on our Stage 3 + RXT-X. THe plate raises the attitude of the ski & the result was a + or - 1.5 mph increase in speed. ( we already have the Pump Extenstion ). Put it on the race course & needed to shim the plate back down to get the ski to handle ( turn ) the bouys correctly. The plate grabs hard in the corners. This should be a great plate for the speed guys & rec riders who are not that all into turning as a bolt on. It should be a great plate for the CC guy who needs to turn on rails & can hang for the 10-15 minute moto. once he shims correctly. We saw no loss of rpms or speed with the plate as a staight bolt-on.

ride plate
This ski has gone 81 mph. It ran average 78 all the time. I went to open loop because after long runs I would lose RPm. Now I am turning 8500 with a 1522 tweaked 2mm. I have a rude 3 and am putting out around 14pds boost at 2100asl. Yes I did completely
cleaned all old material out and matched the hull to it
and filled all holes. I also put a reduction nozzle on it as
suggested { I never needed it before}. and still only ran
73mph with the rpms I stated. When I was making big
speed I was only turning 8350 with the same prop. Should have left the original plate on it.

plate
The nose of the ski is up higher then it was before but it grabs like hell in the turns. Scared me it grabbed so hard. Other people on here have ridden it and can attest to the gps speeds it ran before the plate. It is completely flush matched and sealed. It does have a much better whole shot. Ihad a little play in the pump bearing so I replaced that and the shaft bushing and didnt help abit.
