I am ready to drop $4000.00 on mods, but which way? Help.
Alright boys....,
I'm willing to spend it just not sure which way to spend it....
I just can't wait any longer for these new coolers to come out. I'm going on 2 trips in the next month and would like to have this done before I go. And I'm running out of time to do this....
Do I go down the Motec route.....?
#1:
1. Motec
2. Multi port boost adapter
3. Pro pitch impeller 13/25 (This is the proper impeller, isn't it)
4. anti cav cone
5. R&D engine/intercooler cooling
6. Ride plate
7. Fuel pressure regulator
and then wait on the Riva intercooler
roughly $4500.00
or.....
#2:
1. R4 intercooler with bov
2. C3 wheel
3. new R&D sc shaft
4. power shot
5. multi port boost adapter
6. Prop (same as above)
7. engine/intercooler cooling
8. Ride plate
9. anti cav cone
Roughly $4000.00
I would rather wait on the new Riva cooler (even the new R&D for that matter) as the R4 cooler is ridiculously expensive but I'm just out of time.
I have to pull the trigger now!
Your help is greatly appreciated, as always!

Unless you got special pricing...the MoTeC is 3100 plus the cable 275. The Intercooler is 995. That is 4,400 right there.
My advice to you...open a eTrade account. Take for 4,000 and buy FRE stock. When your ready to buy, sell and take the profit. Today is the 9th. We will to an experiment and see how much you would have made if you would have done a short term investment. There stock is $1.87 per share. So that would be 2,193 shares.

Gary, i would go with option 1. You will end up going Motec eventually anyway. Also, Riva intercooler is not that far off. About a week.
You will also need the fuel pressure regulator with the Motec so factor that into your budget.

My logic is...while he is thinking about what to buy...make your money work for you. If I were him, I would not buy aftermarket parts at the end of the season anyways. Buy it in the off season (Jan/Feb). Then pull his money out and he will grow it 25%.
My FRE stock went from $0.68 to $1.87 in the last 45 days. So his $4,000 would be about $11,000.
