pulling turbo without motor
hi
i don't have the service manual now but my question is, can you pull the turbo without removing the motor on a msx 150. my hands are not that small and it is very tight in there.

I think this was covered in a thread not too long ago. Have a look through the older threads.
Either that, or it was the inter-cooler removal that was discussed

yes...intercooler can be removed without engine removal....to remove the turbo you have to do all the steps to remove the engine except to lift it out...

hi, by doing this you mean lift it off the mounts and tilting it to the intake side to remove the exhaust manifold. Is it possible to remove the exhaust studs (vise grip) and lift it strait out. or will it not fit. I think I may have to lift out the engine if I want to retrieve the tools I drops.haha
