WTB Starter Sloenoid for 02 Genesis I
I need a 4010858 starter solenoid for a friends Genesis. Let me know what you have, new or used. Also how much shipped to 43452. Thanks Tim c

If you can, buy the newer style solenoid with the brown body. It is more reliable than the original black body solenoid.
Also available new, from any Polaris OEM parts source.
I think the same brown solenoid is also available from some other PWC brands. Don't recall which, off the top of my head

Thanks for the input. The relay stuck in the closed position and wore the battery down to nothing. Is this a common problem? Tim C

That seems to be exactly what happened. After the solenoid stuck, the starter kept cranking until the battery went dead. Have you ever seen this problem ruin a starter? Looking to keep reliability high. Thanks

Got one, thanks. I was able to get the brown body solenoid from the local dealer. Tim C
