newer guy questions
so here i go w/ the mods to my ski, told myself id wait a little while but hey i guess 10hrs is a little while right?! anyways gonna ge the basics coming 4"fizzle air, strainer, bilge but here comes my questions. i have utilized the search feature quite a bit for many questions but cant quite find my specific answer.
does the strainer from the 4tec store come with a shut off valve? not a big deal really just curious ive heard it both ways.
i wanna get the riva rear exhaust kit. on riva's website it says "for rear exhaust kit i will need the OEM intercooler upgrade kit." in the 4-tec store it doesnt say anything about needing the upgrade kit so my concern is do i or dont i need it?
the other question i had is since the rear exhaust "requires" the use of OPAS block off ( ive read you can still leave it on, but i figure ill end up taking it off sooner or later so why not when im in the back workin on the exhaust already) is there a real life performance advantage to the pro series blockoffs for the $335 or is the performance block off sufficient. i dont really race just ride through mild chop 75% of the time.

thanks in advace love the website

i actually have an rxp-x.
that makes putting on the rear exhaust a little more expensive then i thought. i guess if im gonna relocate the intercooler just to put on the exhaust i may as well save up my change and put on the power filter kit
or on a second thought, does the fizzle intercooler upgrade come with all the things to relocate the intercooler or is it strictly an upgraded intercooler for a stocker thats already relocated? haha so many options running through my head

i'm not sure if that was in response to my offer, but the block off's are the same for the rxp and rxp-x, or at least according to the online store. just thought i'd let you know if you were interested
