Everstart batteries from Walmart
Dont buy them. they suck. I bought one for my 96xp because I didnt want to buy one from the dealer and it shit the bed after a month. I just bought another one and all it does is make the solienoid chatter and it wont turn over. I put a better battery from a friend in it and it fired right up. Now, Im off to sears to buy a die hard.
blech!

Oh, and I was told by the very knowledgable
walmart employee that batteries cannot be returned, only exchanged and within like 14 days (store policy).

look for a local place that carries deka. get the deka agm and you will never go back. most big trucks run deka batteries, and I have been using them in everything for about 5 years. only 1 failed after 3 years because i left it in the ski outside over the winter

hell just shoehorn a motorcraft powerstroke battery in there, you may never need the 800 cold cranking amps, but dammit you could run a radio forever....

I would normally agree with you if it wasnt for the fact that a friend of mine is on his 4th year on one of those cheap ass Walmart batteries...He even said the other day it was bone dry, no acid, no liquid and he filled it with distilled water and it fired the ski right up.....Go figure....
although i wont buy one cause i am a Deka dealer and they are now super expensive down here in the south....they retail for 140!!!!!!!and that is for the ETX16l for a 2 stroke, the 20l for the 4 strokes is almost 200!!!!!!!

I actually had good success with the Walmart batteries in the Yamahas, and they we're a lot cheaper than the ones I have now in the Seadoos, the only reason I didn't get them again was because Walmart was sold out...

I personally had two of the Walmart batteries last over three years each in two different skis.
