Catch Tube 250x
What is the purpose of the catch tube on the bottom of the ultra 250's (or any ski) airbox?
I have heard of people finding water, oil, or both in this tube. What causes this? Is it bad to have either of these fluids in the tube?
Thanks

Ive also found water/oil (atleast thats what it looks like) in this tube under the air intake. I switched to the Riva Air intake, it does not have a catch tube and got good results, but I do not know what causes it

Your catch can routes back to the intake.
This route sucks from the CC via the valve cover
it is to insure your supercharger stays lubed up. Guess some
water vapor also got sucked up. Keep in mind
it's all in vapor form while your riding. Then it
turns to liquid when the temp drops.
