vent tube ??
Yesterday I took off the plastics to my 2000 GP12r to change the meter assy. and noticed this weird tube sticking up through the hull. Came to see it reads vent tube vent on the side, so when following it down into the hull it just ends connected to nothing? Is this suppose to be like that ??? It looks like it should be connected

It could also be the vent line for the water trap.

vent line?
When I switched to premix and abandoned the oil reservoir tank, I removed the vent line from it and just zip tied it. Could this be the same line your talking about?

Battery vent line? On my ski that was about 25mm dia, 2ft long, says vent line on side. Switched to gel battery, no battery vent to connect it to.

The vent line is for your oil tank. The hose with a metal fitting mounts to the engine and acts as a grease fitting for the midshaft. Hope this helps.
