Guys my FX140 steering is REAL wobbly!
I have a 2002 Fx140 with 255 hours.
Ever since ive owned it from 240 hours the steering has seemed wobbly, i mean i can grab the bars and wobble them side to side and up and down, more than i think is normal. My dealer told me its common and they wont fall off but its just not nice to ride like it! I need a fix.
I stripped the bars and cowling off and it looks like the steering stem which goes down through the white plastic part, is wobbling around inside it.
Also it seems as though the white plastic part is wobbling inside the cast metal casing which surrounds it.
Does anyone have any suggestions to how i could eliminate some of this play in the steering components?
Many Thanks
