2000 xp vts
Ok I have some problems with my VTS. It stopped working so I took out the motor and touched the leads to the positive and negative leads and the motor spun both ways. So I checked the fuse and the 7.5amp fuse was blown, put another fuse in without the motor in and the fuse blew as I pushed it in, anyone have any ideas?

Something is shorting to ground. Either a bared wire somewhere is touching something, or a wire is partially melted somewhere possibly from being in contact with the exhaust or block. That's my 2 cents.
