    The hole i mentioned is through the reed cage base so that fuel/air can pass through this small hole when the reed petals are closed.

    I've never seen one...

    Pretty sure it's a fuel issue. Problem gets a lot worse the lower the fuel tank level. When it's full there is no issue.

    fuel pickup inside the tank ate good - fuel pump is good - one way valves...

    Doesn't stay stopped for long enough to know if it's spark or fuel.

    checked for exhaust leak and it's good. Through hull pipe from pump to engine was split so it was't getting enough water maybe....

    650sx runs great till it stops !!!

    My recent purchase ski is driving me nuts.

    Starts great off the ramp but when I try to restart it after say 10mins riding it sometimes is easy and sometimes is a pain.

    951 GPS figures

    Anyone got or know where to find a GPS chart for a 951 xpl. Like a gragh showing how the speed increases from standstill

    Just want to compare it with my boat and see if mine is on the money or not.

    Just water tested ski with 165 s highs closed and 87.5 lows open 1.5 turns
    Stock 2.0 N/S with black spring giving 18 psi pop off.

    Performance seems a bit better but not that flash and not as good...

    Arms needed bending about 1mm below flush to get the 21psi pop off - is this ok ?

    Starter Bendix

    I need a new starter bendix for a 951.

    There are some really ones on ebay at about US$30

    Anyone have any experience if they are any good ?

    Will follow your suggestion (think i have 18 psi pop off now) - do you think there will be a noticeable difference between current 85...

    I think the oil is castrol tts. Plugs have always been ok - slightly darker than they should be perhaps but dark tan at the worst

    It's not as powerful as it should...
