Totally normal. Its steam and combustion gases, the initial stuff is unburned hydrocarbons as the engine heats up. Just like a car. Well, except for the water injection, of course.

Battery should be fine. There should be a sticker on it that indicates date of manufacture.

You definitely do NOT want to run that thing out of water for more than 5-10 seconds. With a hose on it, I think its five minutes.

Don't use eco mode or the leaning key. The ECU limits the rpm so you won't reach full rpm till the break in is done. Just go out have fun and very the throttle and don't be afraid to do some wot...

I vote 155 wake. 155hp motor is a great motor.
