That still doesn’t explain the 0 fuel pressure with the factory regulator. It sounds to me as if your regulator has failed and you will need to replace it, doing the reinforcement while you’re at it.

Your motor sounds much better without the pump....
Your motor sounds much better without the pump. In the video it has a loud ticking but I’m guessing the mic is picking up the injector noise more than the other, lower frequency noises.

The engine might make a hissing noise as it pulls air through the reeds but that shouldn’t make it hard to turn. That’s the only thing I can think off.

As K447 pointed out, reinforcing the fuel pump regulator is not optional. You should NOT drive it again before the repair. It’s not if it falls out it’s when.
