I would choose WSM/Wossner WSM are pretty much the same as the Wossner but with some extra machining. next in line I would go the CP, but have seen a few with the tops off (high revving turbo boats)...

Pump should be removed with every service. Once out spin the prop in the pump. It should be virtually silent.

Yes it's restricted, that's why it collapsed.
I've had more genuine filters do it than copies. But the WSM seem to be the worst ones

At least the forging are made by the same die. I've used both and done 3.5 to 4. New Pistons have the bottom of the piston clearances a bit more for stock rods.

yeah paint, use epoxy for any fibreglass repairs and auto paint 2 pack for the finish

Do this, nothing else, coat the threads with anti-sieze and the washer, screw in until washer touches then compress the washer by 1/8 to 1/4 max.
If you ever have to remove the plugs to check...

new or old pistons, you dont need to replace the bronze bush in the small end of the rod unless its damaged or worn. easier to replace the rod

I've now seen 2 with what looked like alluminium spots on the plugs , owners just wanted new plugs, but I just sent the guys back to the dealer in case it was more than plugs.

my way, anti seize the threads, screw in the plug until you seat the plug washer just touching not squashed, then 1/4 turn or a little less

Anti-seize always used it and always will use it. as for fancy plugs, to me they're a waste of money on the 15f

ive had plenty of stock skis on stock ecu break retainers, it can happen.
