If there was any way to use the stock ski reverse bucket it would just be so much easier. Everything bomts rught up. But i couldnt figure out how to get the reverse cable to work on that style setup.

I have all the parts off a 2008 rxp-x . I put the vts drilled hole for it and is currently installed and working.

It is not yet connected as the vts nozzle the one that moves up and down doesnt...

Check oil for gas smell. If your injectors stayed on , the engine may be flooded with gas. Bringing level up and getting past rings while accelerating.

Check sensor connections for any signs of oxidation, check the bus bars grounds and positives for oxidation. Check the grounds on that engine/clean and tighten. Pain in the arse to do on a boat but...

Is he getting any codes? Sounds like maybe a sensor is throwing that engine into limp home mode. Usually an oil sensor or temp sensor.

There was a guy on ebay that would sell the kit to convert it. May still be there. If not then basically you buy 2 cdi/ mpem and run each engine as if it was in a jetski. There will be no more...

Almost 100% it's what ncdoo said. Lost the key programming probably due to it having a dead battery for a long time.
