Selecting sport does take longer on my 21 than my 18. With a SCOM, it will default to the mode that you were last in, never have to select sport again.

Pela is probably the best built with the longest lasting seals. I use their model 650. It is a 6.5 quart unit.

Its head gasket or oil cooler. Do a compression test and report back.

That was because the gas damage was to the outer most clear acrylic layer. The fade is in the color beneath that layer. Compound will not remove the fade issue, unfortunately.

That's interesting. Did you need any spacers or mods to make it fit. I know the 18 TX is not the same mounting box as the 18 PX.

I don't run a strainer, but if I did, it would be only on the IC circuit for the reasons that have been mentioned.

If you ride in salt water, its pretty easy to know if its condensation or a raw water leak from the IC, taste it. I guess, you could use a salinity test strip, but its not as tasty.:p

I thought that a strainer was not necessary on 300 machines due to the fact that the water passages are much larger than on the lower HP units.

Since the can releases the vapors into the hull/bilge rather than the atmosphere, aren't the vapors going into the induction system anyway?

That would be great to know. I doubt on the 16-20 with the rigid plastic retaining bar that it will fit.

The mounting on my 2018 PX is very specific to a rigid box, but the 16 series might work in my 2021 PX as it uses straps.
