    I have an 07' stock wake 155 and get around 60...

    I have an 07' stock wake 155 and get around 60 MPH at 7500RPM. if you are only getting 48 MPH you have a problem somewhere. I would check the impeller/wear ring as stated above.

    You can have a fizzle for almost the same price or not a big difference with better performance and reliability ....
