On the back/stern of most modern ski's, there's a sticker that indicates the direction to flip the ski.

My understanding is if you flip it the wrong way, there's a potential for damage.

Well, Tampa is the strip club capital of the world.

I had them use two different materials.

The sides were traditional vinyl. The top was silver "carbon fiber".
