You have to remove the air box top , six bolts. Then it comes out , you have to press the bailer hose out of the way. Terminals on the batter face aft when you pull it up and out.

What engine is the OP even refering too? If its an Ultra, then forget it. If its and 650 or 800 , then premix is ok, but the pumps are more reliable than your memory for putting oil in the gas.
