Not many people have much seat time on the 2020's so it's hard to speak to their reliability. But past issues have been carbon seals, hull cracks, and potentially(but not yet determined) a valve...

Seems Sea-doo knows this as well since the GTi recieved a "2nd Generation Polytech" hull which is reportedly thicker. Would appear 2nd Generation hulls will be rolling out quicker than the general...

If you just want grip, I prefer half finger gloves. Never cared for the feeling of a whole glove on my hands while riding.

I don't think I'm willing to bet on 8 years this time. The GTI got it's first gen polytech hull in 2017. Models are changing much faster nowadays as far as design goes. The only things that seem to...

The 2nd gen hull makes me want to wait for the RXT X revision before I build a motor now.....Maybe just some simple upgrades to hold me over until then instead of building the head in the off season...

Nothing inside the ski, front or rear, is ever going to be that cool. Everything inside there turns into a sauna with the seats on. Rear air is definitely louder, and more efficient. If cooler air is...

Love it. No issues with it so far. Lots of supercharger whine. I didn't even remove the factory intake except for the small piece going into the supercharger so it's a super fast swap back to stock...

You won't get much past that without the intake. Heat fade is a rather large problem with the intercooler too. Seems about how my RXT X acted with just a SCOM.

I agree that the old ones were more robust. My 05 RXT sunk completely due to blowing off a hose and it cranked right away after some wd-40 down the spark plug holes and still runs like a champ to...

Sounds like a nice job for water wetter or purple ice....I just always notice a power fade after the ski heats up. Not sure whether it's engine cooling or intercooler related. But the rpms will hit...

    Thermostat or cooling options?

Are there any improved thermostats for the 300 closed loop system on my 2019 RXT X? Or is the Riva 300 open loop kit the only option for improved cooling?

Valve part number is changed for 2019. Cam part number changed for 2018, but 2018's don't have the valve issues.

I wouldn't push the stock retainers past 8300rpm. Wave jumping a modified ski that has the rev limiter removed with a factory valvetrain is asking to chew up a valve and piston and potentially lock...

If you are seeing 79 Dash with just a SCOM, id keep your stock prop. I couldn't ever get the dash past 73 with SCOM only. Sounds like a factory freak.

    2019 300 valves

After all of the talk of 2019 RXT X's dropping valves, I have finally decided to be proactive and pull the head in the off season. Supertech springs and retainers are a given, but which valves do you...
