I think most people on this forum probably rebuild their own jet pumps. You need a couple of special tools. Bearings & seals will probably cost you $100-150.

The 2015 pump is the upgraded one, so no problem there. You don't have to run in salt water to have corrosion in the pump, and it can happen to other brands as well.
