Use an air filter housing with no cotton gauze or other material in it. Just the metal mesh works wonders, it runs on water and not a dirt road..

He hasn't said anything about experiencing any cavitation. Those are small scuffs from the impeller edge, it won't make much difference if its replaced.

Because supertech gives you springs as well as the retainers for the same price as only the retainers from Riva.. Supertech all the way. I guess supertech is wiser in ensuring it all fits and works...

Leave it stock and enjoy it for many years to come instead of risking, reduced reliability and expensive repairs due to modifications. Get a stock 300 instead if you want more speed..

I would sell it and stick to bicycles... Like the non gas powered type.. Maybe an electric bike would be safe as well..

Or go with an ET137 and a tune for reliability. You may want to refresh the engine with a rebuild at this point..

Pressure test the intercooler.. Supercharger slip test? Spark plugs are new? Test the ignition coils.. Verify fuel pressure.

I'd offer maximum $1500 It can cost up to 3K or more, to rebuild each engine..

I once installed a large K&N Filter on a boat but I removed the cotton gauze and left the stainless steel/metal mesh...

I would still suggest a simple "limiter removal" for many years of reliability.. The limiter is only due to regulation and not reliability. It would remain as a faster, reliable stock ride. 8-)
