It does 73 on a good day @ 8100 here in Australia Stock with no mods

Update!!!!
Head gasket blown out!!!!
Covered by the shop
Fitted the 300 gasket with the modification
Arp head studs
Slight repitched 15/19r
Lifted the limiter to 9100 in the tune...

Update fellas
Turns out that the overflow tank is junk buckled and out of round where the cap seats and not holding pressure at all
the test we done showed head gasket gone,but done with too much...

Les Cooke C Kit Charger works well with the 260s

Will do next week

We done a head gasket contamination test and it shows carbon dioxide
Its throwing the water out above 3000 rpms
Running temp up quickly

8850 rpm

Stock comp 8.4 wsm pistons

The tune is a 8850 rpm tune
It's going back for repairs Monday

i always thought about going open loop cooling
its has the same set up as yr old set up
160 thermo and closed loop

Hi All, I had a rebuild completed by a Shop, here in Down Under machined block and machined head fitted OEM 260 gasket was running real nice approx. 10 hrs old, then started overheating on WOT!...

Spot on 15/19R Solas with a slight tweak
Best prop by a mile for that ski
I use it 79 mph @8650 on a 3 seater lounge

Might have to go 8.5 then
Blown one Engine to pieces
Dont want to do that again

I had my oil light come on briefly
The next time out I spun a bearing on the crank
For me it was KABOOOM

broke the crankshaft in half

The prop has been repitched to suit the ski before the Bigger Stage 3 Suoercharger was fitted
Now it has heaps more power so I need an after market prop
Does anybody have recommendations...
