    It really doesn't take much fogging oil at all when running it through the intake system. I'd say 1/2 or less of what you would normally put in through plug holes. It won't hurt or plug anything up...

    I guess if it ONLY does it on the first take off.....you could have sticky check valves in the acc pump. The fuel could possibly leak backwards into the carb. That could do it.

    That thing with the red cap is a flush...

    That thing with the red cap is a flush port......it takes a specific adapter. At this point, I'd yank it for a full teardown as we don't really know where the metal came from.

    Increase popoff to around 50psi.....30 is too low. Also check that the needle arm lever is flat with the carb body. If it's sticking up too high the diaphragm rests on it, holding it open.

    The water regulating RAVE has a metal spring...

    The water regulating RAVE has a metal spring clamp under it. Thay commonly rub a hole through the diaphragm. If it has not already happened replace the metal clamp with a thin zip tie.
