Folks. This is how it is done. Nice job. Keep checking your clearences when machining od grinding the impeller. Shoot for .008". Might have to sand down that hump where the ring is welded.

Agree with Steve45. There are bubbles around that hole. Looks like it will need a patch. Cut out the corrosion and make a patch and tig it up. Simple. I have done this before as well.
