Did you verify pitch on the impeller is not out of whack? Pump seal is seated properly? Spark plugs?

BRP never stopped using fiberglass. The only thing changed is they eliminated gel coat and are using thermoformed abs colored plastic and acrylic film for the finish.

Take it for a ride with the seat off. If it runs good with the seat off you have a exhaust leak

Make sure you do not have a leak. If the charger is not seated properly it will leak when running

You can just buy color matched gel coat. Fill the gouge with marine tex then touch up with colored gel coat
