The fuel gauge on my STXR 1200 has become erratic. I'm assuming it requires the replacement of the fuel level sensor. Is this a tricky or time consuming project?

Thought I bought a cherry 2004 with 30 hours on it. It ran for awhile, looks almost new on the outside, once I pulled the heads I could see barnacles.

Somehow a carb diaphram cover got damaged...

Pull the plugs and make sure that no water made it into the cylinders before firing it back up....
