    after reading this, I think I did it it all wrong...the low speed adjustment screw is not for idle adjustment...its for low speed :)...

    2001 Yamaha GP800R carb rebuild

    Yeeeeaaaaa , after 5 times of removing carbs and debugging, the carbs finally can hold pressure and no leak...I'm able to start and drive it for 2 days now.

    found my root cause...I scratched the top edge of...

    found my root cause...I scratched the top edge of the new seat when I pushed it in....the needle clip got caught on it so it didnt close properly....I guess for two days, it was working properly...

    after more research, leak is probable from cheap...

    after more research, leak is probable from cheap rebuild kit from ebay from 5 yrs ago...will buy mikuni rebuild kit to see if leak goes away...

    went to harbor freight and made my own pressure...

    went to harbor freight and made my own pressure tester....did pop off test on both carbs....both did not pop, went as high as 45psi only....one did bubble but fixed it by replacing o-ring on seat.......

    Pulse Connector/hoses

    Only took me 5 yrs to get the nerves to rebuild my carbs on 2001 Yahama GP800R. Had no clue how to get access to them...

    Today, just dove in and was able to remove exhaust to expose the the carbs....
