    Yes you can fit the head studs without removing the head, you would have to remove the cams to be able to get to the head bolts....

    I connected the blue/yellow from the ecu to...

    I connected the blue/yellow from the ecu to black from the ecu. I also used the same black wire from the ecu as the negative 0 volts to my new gauges.

    Well it looks like the engine is toast! Stripped...

    Stripped it down tonight and my intial diagnosis was right. piston 2 has failed and the rod has holed the block and sump.
