    If you still want to remove the pump, use a brake...

    If you still want to remove the pump, use a brake caliper rewind tool to push the pump off using the tabs instead of a screw driver.......makes the job simple.

    Just trying to understand where you think you have over greased??? There will be some resistance turning the driveshaft out of the ski.......they don't spin that freely.

    I would recommend getting an adapter to fit the correct size driver bit into a ratchet wrench......you can apply plenty of force onto the screw head & have the leverage to gently undo.

    2012 FX's all had mechanical neutral.........pull the handle out, then push back in.....it stops half way, then squeeze the 'trigger' to push all the way in for forward again.
