The lx case is different from the 15f and 12f but you might be able to make it work. The lx shares the cases with the boosted motors.

Yep, you can do it in the hull. You can also slice your fingers off on the cylinder base gasket in the process.

12f cylinders are easier than 15fs are, the lead in taper is longer.

Its setup almost like a brake, it stuffs the nose down in turns so the hull grabs better. Lots of teams run pairs on the outer edges of the hull. This one is on the smaller side.

I figured that was the case, they are probably pretty close already based on what I saw with my stuff. Since the zx12r uses different length rods than the 12f, the weight of the pistons and pins may...

Kawi did some weird stuff back in the day. They ran a turbocharger and supercharger on one of their race skis for a while. They also did an ultra top deck with a 15f hull for a bit.

I played around with my vts, steering, and reverse cables this evening.

The steering cable will use the stock kawasaki cable, its even the same lenght as the cable I used with my 155mm pump.

Kawi was testing a boosted 15f way back in 2004. Despite making fast stuff, they kind of move at theor own pace. I can't complain though...

No worries, I get where you are coming from.

In this case the issue is the ecu not the compression ratio. The 12f motor has been run in the same setup since 2003 and only had issues in 03, 06/07....

I think you might be able to just run the sensor wire if you can get the ecu pins for it. The connector side is a sumitomo mt90 if my memory is correct.

The 12f cylinders have a different taper lenght and a different water jacket height. The 12f (at least the early model ones) only have one engine temp sensor while the 15f has 2.
