    Piston pin washer/spacers

I've noticed on the last couple engines I've rebuilt that neither had the washers on the piston pin on both sides of the connecting rod. I've had to buy replacements on each engine.

    How does this happen?

OK, so I've had a few GP's - including a 1200R and an 800R for a few years now. The 1200R originally had a bad rear cylinder from an oil line pop off and was replaced and has run great since. Now...

    1200R vs 800R crank prices

I'm confused... how is it that an 800R crank is pretty much the same price as a 1200R crank, even though the 1200R has 50% more parts??

If it's been sitting that long you should be doing the carbs before you run it... when you have it that far apart, it's not much more to get the front off and take the bendix out to clean it.
