I've got a 2015 FX HO (1.8 engine) with about 70 hrs on it. Bought it brand new and it's been flawless.

Last time we went out it was a hot day with smooth water and we went on a 60 mile ride....

I make sure it's warmed up at least 10 minutes of running before I hit the thottle and then I usually avoid wide open for another few minutes.
I'm not one of those guys who goes from launch to wide...

You're using the wrong plugs. CR9EK are for the normally aspirated engines.
