That would explain the loss of oil, but not the water in the oil. Haven’t had time to start tearing it apart yet, but I’ll check that out when I do.

Any suggestions? I don't think the oil would be so low if it was the head- if anything, it would be higher because of the water getting in. Is the oil cooler the most probable cause, or could it be...

I’m thinking maybe oil cooler, too. I checked the head for cracks with dye when I had it off. I may have put too much pressure on the oil cooler when I put it & the IC on dedicated cooling lines.

Water in Oil; Oil in Hull

I had water in the oil before & thought it was the head gasket, so I changed it. Also changed the oil 4 times to flush out the water. Took it out today & it was running bad. Got it home & checked the...

I would agree, but it was worse the second time. I checked the oil cooler, and it was good too. So now I'm wondering if I messed up the new gasket when I installed it. It was a Riva head gasket.

When I had the head off, I used the dye to look for cracks. Didn’t see any, but then again, it wasn’t under pressure when it was dyed.

Just realized it can’t be the IC because I have a dedicated line to it, and didn’t run that line on the hose. Either have a bad oil cooler or a crack somewhere.

    Milk Shake

I had a milk shake in the oil. Changed head gasket & ran it on the hose for about 5 minutes. Still have water in the oil. Didnít appear like water had come through the intake when I had the head &...

Hey John. I just moved out of Escondido about a year ago to Texas. Is that pic of your boat on the Colorado? Looks like where I used to ride around Yuma.

Nice! I have two Adams uppers, and had another one. I have put every kind of crappy ammo you can think of through my 5.45 upper without a single issue.

No, you will not have to pay again. That's the main reason I changed from R&D to Dean's--so I can change the tune as I make changes to the ski. I'm not sure if the Greenhulk store has an option for...

The turnaround time on mine was longer than typical because I let him keep it for a while to experiment and and work up a good tune. When i initially sent it in, I was asking for a 92 octane tune...

I finally got a chance to get on the water after my reflash. I went from an R3 to a Dean's tune. Wasn't really able to measure top speed because it was pretty choppy, but still managed to hit 78mph,...

I don't have anything against them other than personal preference. I don't think they are junk, and, like I said, I really wanted to like them because they are a lot cheaper than SIGS. If I could get...

If I have to choose between those choices, I'd probably go with H&K. Both are built like a brick shithouse, both are expensive to do anything to, and both have a very loyal following. Also, in both...
