Ideally you should check your fuel pressure to verify your return restrictor size is giving you the correct fuel pressures. Novi recommends 1-2psi from idle up to 2500rpm and 4-5psi at peak rpm.

I wasn't able to find anybody that sells them, so I built my own. It is loosely patterned after the Riva intake splash guard. I liked that the Riva guard was attached to the hull at the engine...

It doesn’t look anything like the piston I melted on my triple! I’ll tear down that carb and look for a blockage, but that cylinder looked like all the others 10 hours ago.

    I still think I...

    Hydrolocked My Ski Today

So I was out spinning donuts, playing in my wake and taking a lot of water over the top of my ski like I so often like to do. Then my ski started running poorly and ultimately died on the water. I...

Wow, my ski has never seen glass like that! The ring joint pipe was good for 60-70rpm. I may richen the hi-speed needles 1/4 turn and see if I pick up any rpm with that, after I change the ride...

OK, here is the piston wash with the '05-'08 ring joint exhaust installed. It added 50-70 rpm on the top end. These pistons have 15hrs on them and I run Mystik Sea and Snow oil at 40:1.

I would put threaded inserts such as heli-coils in those motor mount threads. You don’t want that engine coming loose, ever.

  23. Considering a 15/22 Dynafly. Will it work?

I recently finished my 2000 GP1200R conversion to a 1300. I'm still fine tuning the carbs, but for now I'm fairly close. I can run 67mph (GPS) at 7150rpm for extended periods (15+ minutes) with...
