What I take from that video is the engine is bogging down a second or so after the throttle has been pulled. Cavitation doesn't slow the engine...

What do you want to know? Off the line, they're so close it's really who gets on the throttle first. Watching it go round buoys is amazing - it just doesn't slow down. Riding it, it feels the same.

My own personal view is that increase over 300 is pointless if speed is limited to 67. It's bizarre to me to add HP which you then limit. Unless you are selling to people you expect to remove...

This is the "valve" setup on a 250/60. Its not really a valve so much as an open fitting that, yes, did allow for water to drain. The 310 version of this is a 90* one way check valve...
