I use the u bolt anti rattle bracket and it helps a lot. The bolt witch is probably 1/2" bolts through the new 2" id 18" long stock to the frame. The I can get a photo later.

I had a this welded to my triton. Love it! With the E-Z ski hauler. I don't tow behind it. It also has a 3/4" bolt at the frond end of the 2" square stock for insurance.477647477648
