sounds like to me that the Hold In windings on the solenoid are bad, or your battery is bad, could be a few things. just replace the relay, make sure your battery is good and check any fuses, sounds...

even if you take the whole motor apart and find nothing wrong, it's still worth it, replacement motors aint cheap.

you have to find this oil leak, look every where for wet oil use a flash light, if your oil filter housing was wet with oil then it may be leaking, but also as Hoss said, it may be your oil cooler if...
