My sl 750 porpoises like crazy so I was thinking about a ocean pro "o" plate. Would I need a jet pump extension? With the ocean pro "o" plate now out of stock will the slx 780 plate work as good...

our 1995 sl 750 will not charge our newly bought battery. the magneto seems to be in excellent condition. we do not know if there is a bad ground or if the wires plugged in wrong in the cdi box....
