    Yes the Fizzle F1000 and Fizzle Gen. X do use the same core. The difference is the air tanks. F1000 works with Fizzle aluminum pipes and Gen X uses with factory hoses.

    The fitting is 1/8" NPT and requires a tap and 21/64" drill bit. My recommended way is this way. On the other hand, many people are using the map sensor tee without any issues.
