"Runabout" is not an oddball class, it is the 1200 that is oddball. GPR 1200 is a runabout as is an STXR and a seadoo xp or gp800.

There was always a runabout "naturally aspirated" class which was for 4 stroke runabouts up to 2000cc with no superchargers. 2 strokes up to 1300cc with no triple pipes/dry pipes could run with them....

I dont recall what the class rules are probably because with regard to 2 and 4 strokes they dont make much sense but I think a stock 1200 can run with 4 stroke naturally aspirated. The problem is...

Check the ignition box and see what is in there. What are the compression numbers for you on a fresh top end?

Dont think this thread will get much action on here. You may want to try PWCtoday.com there are alot more stand up riders on there that will have experience with that setup.

Down and back is most aggressive up and forward is least. I dont remember how much in between adjustment there is on that brand.

Ask Riva what fuel to use. May be worth checking the fuel requirements of the organization you are racing with.

Sounds like a good place to start- a little rich. Novis need a restrictor in the return line usually recommend a 95 or 100 main jet in that.

The guy who built the 15f I have originally ran the turbo setup with stock pistons + 1mm spacer + like 7 lbs boost before he switched to aftermarket pistons.

On 12f rods makes more sense. Originally you said 15f rods and pistons in a 12f motor. They would be way down in the hole.
