Unsure man, Upside Down is your best bet. In the sun wouldn't hurt to heat em up and speed up drying. Do it quickly though so mold doesn't set in.

Yep they're just water logged. I would do exactly what you are doing and lean them against the wall. Maybe put a towel down to protect the corners and to sop up all the water.

Absolutely! Starting the process soonish. Trying to debate taking the ski down for 2+ weeks while I do it though. Temps are too nice this week to even think about it.

If you take the hose off you'll just have water spraying everywhere under there. I would keep the line there and plug it.

I've heard of folks just disconnecting the line, putting a brass ammo casing in the tube and reconnecting the line like factory. Unsure of the caliber but it's the idea that you can go off of.

Yep they are all like this. Lets just call it a very early alarm for dummies. If you fly 50 miles away from the dock, dummies need that alarm to signal them to get back with enough fuel.
