    I figured it out. There are two screws you can remove and the mirror comes apart. It will be easy to paint them now.

    Painting waverunner mirrors

    Im about to paint a 1999 xl760. Does the mirror glass pop out of the mirrors? I could mask the mirrors but it would be hard to get complete coverage behind the glass.
