I definitely have more acceleration and having maptuner is better than a Scom, and yes I can add as many tunes as I want depending on future mods for the one time 1k.

I have 2018 TX and have the bone stock 8500 tune from maptuner x. I ran 78 on the speedo on glass water and quarter tank of gas with no mods except the tune. Consistently I run 75/76 on the speedo.

This is actually good for Yamaha owners because obviously seadoo knew what they where doing with the 18 TX and made sure the stock tune beat the GP.... now I’m interested in seeing what Yamaha does...

I think it affects acceleration more so. You can have 3 people on a ski and hit the limiter on most skis but getting there in the 0-60 time is a whole other thing lol. Acceleration wins races
