whatever happened in the 1st cylinder to let the keeper half get in... It (keeper) was pimped out to the other cyls via intake and blown back to the other cyls.. I guess... Vacuum then boost..... No?

The guide is seated in place but because of the bent stem it is cracked open, the guide never left the seal on the top part of the head so how do the keepers get down inside there? Not only that, how...

The seal is still in place, the guide is split but still there. The valve was still stuck in the seal so it was missing the piston luckily. I don't see how half the keeper made it into the cylinders....

How does a dropped valve lose its Keepers into the #1 and #2 cylinders? There was a fragment embedded into the piston on number 1 cyl and a fragment in the number 2 cyl. No major damage just some...

Sean, you don't need to remove the oil cooler to test it. Although it will require you to drain the coolant. Disconnect both oil cooler lines from the thermostat and plug one side of the cooler line...
