    You need to check the clearance between the impeller and the wear ring, I think .014" is max. The white spots are normal, just salt deposits on the alum stator housing.

    And yes the 185 is a 17 tooth SC gear with a 88/86 tooth flywheel whereas the 215 and 255/260s use a 16 SC gear and a 87/86 tooth flywheel. I think I got that right.

    Supercharger issue

    Looks like the gear got way too hot. Anyone seen this before or know what might cause it? Supercharger was rebuilt with OEM kit with only 15 minutes on it.
